This is not North Beach

It is unclear where North Beach is located.

Some believe Magellan may have found it first somewhere near Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean. Cook thought he came close to finding it around the Line Islands in the Pacific Ocean. Others believe it was on Shackleton's list to explore, but he got sidetracked going south. Rumor had it the Endless Summer crew filmed there, but the footage is lost.

As the legend goes, it is everything you want. It is the rare location that has both picturesque sunrises and sunsets every single day. A continuous ground swell combined with a constant offshore wind and perfect reef system create gnarly sets of glassy, navy blue left-to-right barrels perfect for epic surfing. Deep palm tree groves provide shady cover for deep thinking, reading, and relaxation. You can catch any species of fish there including fresh water species in nearby tributaries. Within a mile radius, every fruit and every vegetable grows abundantly year round. A non-stop cool breeze blows down off of a sprawling mountain range. The temperature does not deviate from 78 degrees. Ever. The sun is out all the time during the day. At night you can see more stars there than any other place on Earth.

What is universally agreed, though, is North Beach is palatial, pristine, and perfect.

Welcome to our North Beach.

Mike, along with his wife, Stephanie, have three young children who keep them busy at their home in Bay Village when he is not working towards the long-term compounding of North Beach’s capital.

Dillon Thompson, CFA

  • Dillon has been working in small business since taking his first role with North Beach Holdings upon graduation from the University of Akron. His bifurcated role – working both as an ‘investment analyst’ seeking to profitably analyze, negotiate and invest in small business and also as a ‘business analyst’ searching out ways to increase profitability post-acquisition – has given him relevant experience in a diverse range of business functions.

He has spearheaded the effort to find, analyze, value, negotiate, diligence, close, and integrate all five of NBH’s historical acquisitions. His professional passion now lies in ‘value –add’ investing, or, investing with a relentless focus on adding value to the business and its industry post-close.

Spencer Wirick

  • The newest member of the RPM Capital team, Spencer graduated Magna Cum Laude from Walsh University in North Canton, Ohio with a BA in finance. While at Walsh, he competed in cross country & track, where he qualified for the NCAA Men's Division II Cross Country Championship three times.
